Jun 1, 2023 · Jose Mourinho's proud record of winning European finals has finally come to an end, two decades after he announced himself as a special coach with Porto's UEFA Cup victory in 2003. Here are all of his European final appearances in chronological order, and how he and his teams fared.

- Porto 3-2 Celtic (2003 UEFA Cup final) Mourinho's maiden European success included an atypical victory in the final. His upstart Porto side were inspired by their sublime number ten, Deco, and they twice took the lead in the 2003 UEFA Cup final against Celtic.
- Monaco 0-3 Porto (2004 Champions League final) There were little thrills in the 2004 Champions League final as Mourinho's side eased to a 3-0 victory over Didier Deschamps Monaco.
- Bayern Munich 0-2 Inter (2010 Champions League final) Inter's historic treble was so significant considering that it arrived at a time when 'tiki-taka' was so prevalent.
- Ajax 0-2 Man Utd (2017 Europa League final) Despite eventually ending Guardiola's reign of dominance in La Liga, Mourinho failed to guide Real Madrid to La Decima and his next European success would arrive during his first season at Man Utd.

- 2004 Champions League: FC Porto 3, AS Monaco 0. After winning the UEFA Cup the season before, Jose Mourinho's Porto confirmed to be a strong side and surprisingly knocked out Manchester United in the Round of 16, Olympique Lyon in the quarterfinals and Deportivo La Coruna in the semifinals and faced AS Monaco in the final of the competition.
- 2010 Champions League: Inter 2, Bayern Munich 0. In the summer of 2008, Inter appointed Mourinho with the declared goal to win the Champions League after the Nerazzurri failed to win a major European trophy since the 1960s.
- 2003 UEFA Cup: FC Porto 3, Celtic 2. Jose Mourinho's first European trophy was the 2002-23 UEFA Cup when Porto won 3-2 in Seville against Celtic. The Portuguese side scored the opening goal with Brazilian striker Derlei, but Celtic immediately equalized in the second half with Henrik Larsson.
- 2022 Europa Conference League: AS Roma 1, Feyenoord 0. The 2022 Conference League final was a historical win for AS Roma as the Italian club failed to win a UEFA trophy until last year.
