You're always going to be considered old by those younger than you and young by those older than you. I wouldn't read anything into your doctor telling you you're young, other than that it means she's older than you and subject to natural egocentric human bias.
Maybe not by Hollywoods standards (women in particular being expired by 25), but 36 is definitely still young in my eyes. The only people that might not think so are obviously kids and people in their early 20’s.
