Jun 8, 2023 · Inflation. Annual headline inflation, based on consumer price index (CPI), is expected at 5.0 per cent for 2023-24 and 4.9 per cent during 2024-25 (Annexes 1 and 2). Headline CPI inflation (y-o-y) is expected at 4.7 per cent in Q1:2023-24 and is likely to remain in the range of 4.9-5.3 per cent during the next three quarters (Table 3).
