Then choose to deactivate the screen password and restart the mobile. If you are lucky you have fingerprint option after this, if not than repeat the procedure a couple of times.

  5. Hello it happens to me to. Is back all of a sudden, by itself without any reset or anything done. Fingerprint scanner also went missing for me, but a total reset didn't do anything. So i guess it's either at trip to the repair shop or now it's time to upgrade my 3 year old phone.

  7. If the fingerprint sensor is at the back, side or bottom of the phone screen, please check whether the issue occurs only when the phone is charging.
