This article explains how to see any game you've hidden on Steam. Instructions work on both the Steam website and the desktop client.

Steam provides a variety of ways to manage and organize your game library, including the option to hide games. When a game is hidden, it won’t show up in your library. Hiding a game technically places it into a special game collection that’s hidden by default. The hidden collection doesn’t show up with your other collections, so the only way to access it is through the view menu.

Uninstalling a Steam game won't hide it from your library, but you can filter to only display installed games by clicking the play icon in the main library list.

Here’s how to unhide games in Steam:

    1.Open Steam, and click View.

    2.Click Hidden Games.

3.Your hidden games will appear. Right-click the one you want to unhide.

The hidden game feature provides a way to hide games from your Steam library. There are several reasons to hide a game, and it’s an easily reversible process, so you can hide any game you want for any reason. Whether you want to hide an embarrassing title, you’re tired of looking at an especially tricky or broken game you weren’t able to beat, or you just want to tidy up your library, you can hide any game on Steam by right-clicking it in your library and selecting Manage > Hide Game.

If your main reason to hide games is that your library is too big to handle, and you’re just trying to tidy things up, you may want to consider using the Collections option. Steam Collections allow you to add your favorite games manually for easy access or create dynamic groups of games that fit specific qualifications. For example, you could create a dynamic collection containing all of the co-op games you and a friend own if you’re trying to figure out what to play on your next game night.

When you hide a game, you add it to a special hidden collection titled HIDDEN. This collection isn’t visible in your library like your other collections, so there’s no chance of anyone accidentally seeing it.

Since hiding a game adds it to a special collection, it doesn’t affect your profile. That means your Steam friends will still be able to see any achievements you get in a hidden game, along with your recent and total play time if you choose to play the game while it is hidden.
