I'm using Excel for Mac 2017. Is there a way to define the size of a worksheet. I'm not referring to Set Print Area. I mean that when we open an excel worksheet. we will see only the active part of the worksheet, and not all the unused rows and columns. Thanks for your advice.
Oct 24, 2023 · It is not possible to do so when you click Page Setup after selecting File > Print. I had not selected print yet. And the page layout tab was as below. I have since had to print and shrink the whole document to fit to one page so I would have the row titles.
Apr 12, 2020 · The Print Area, Rows to Repeat at Top and Columns to Repeat at Left are diabled (grayed out) if you select File > Print > Page Setup. They should be enabled when you activate the Page Setup dialog by clicking the little arrow in the lower right corner of the Page Setup group of the Page Layout tab of the ribbon. ---. Mar 26, 2013 · Created on March 25, 2013. Unable to set print area in some documents. I can no longer set the print area in some Excel documents in Office 2010. The “Set print area” button is not greyed out and appears to work because the resulting print preview is correct. However there is no dotted line around the selected print area.

Aug 18, 2011 · In reply to Bill_in_AZ's post on August 18, 2011. Select the sheet with the pivot table on it. Select Insert | Name | Define. The dialog will have a named range called Print_Area. this is the named range that defines what will be printed. If you modify this named range to use a dynamic range then it will print your entire pivot table.
