Sep 7, 2012 · Okay, I pasted that into Word and examined it, and here's the deal: On the Table tab of Table Properties, click Options, and you'll see that not only is the cell margin 0.1" all the way around, but the "Allow spacing between cells" check box is checked, with a measurement of 0.1".

A number of chart elements can have borders - which one(s) do you want to remove? In general, CTRL- or right-click on the element (e.g., Chart Area, Plot Area, Legend, Title, Axis Title, Data Labels, or Text Box) and choose Format <element>.

Sep 10, 2010 · I am printing certificates and do not want a border to appear so I set the margins to zero. Once I print, the document still prints out a white border around the document. How can I print so that the images take up the entire page? I have tried this in Microsoft Word as well as Microsoft Publisher.
Jun 4, 2016 · I have a table in a word document. I then have a specific row, with two columns. Initially, the first column's right-side border was movable, independent of other (table) columns. At a certain point, I had to move the (inner/right) first column border, and aligned it to the table's first column (right).

Borders all disappear as expected. 3.Insert cell spacing (Tables Properties->Options->Allow spacing between cells, 0.5cm) 4. Select top left cell and add a border (Border drop-down->All Borders).
What you want is display of the gridlines - not borders. Borders are printed. If you are in the table the table tools tab should be available. Click on it . Select your entire table. Under the design tab To the right of the gallery you will see a button for borders. Choose no border.
If not, then it's probably what Word calls "text boundaries". In that case, go to Office button > Word Options > Advanced, scroll down to the Show Document Contents section, and uncheck "Show text boundaries". If the border does show in the Print Preview, then click the Page Layout tab and click the Page Borders button in the middle of the ribbon.
