During the final battle, the only thing Arjuna did was kill Karna's support and he did not run anything significant against him, although he counteracted some of his weapons. "How" -- Arjuna had inability to fire his weapons on robbers, who were not even great warriors. He even couldn't remember his celestial weapon art (same like Karna).
