Nov 28, 2021 · This happened ever since I upgraded to Windows 11. This only applies to game icons though. Most of my other task/productivity software icons are fine. Just the games I thought this would be a quick fix that people might have encountered but I don't see this issue floating around the web.

Sep 29, 2019 · All of my icons from my steam games are all blank, and they don't launch the game. i have to launch from my library to get ♥♥♥ to work. I tried deleting them and adding them again but that doesn't work. I also tried to verify the game files, still nothing. Help
When Steam re-downloaded itself, everything worked fine except that it assumed that the icons were now pointing at an empty steams\games directly. If your issue is like mine, simply copy the old steam\games folder into the new folder and it all works. Note, you'll need to reboot to see the icons update themselves. #2. SSgt.
