Whilst you are subscribing to any of Sky’s subscription packages, then you get the Sky+ service for free. If you cancel your Sky subscription, then Sky+ functionality will stop.

Jul 28, 2011 · Although Freeview carries less channels that Freesat, there are three channels offered on Freeview that you won’t currently find on Freesat: It’s also important to note that with Freeview, there is the option to get ESPN, Sky Sports 1, Sky Sports 2 and GOLD, using a service called Top Up TV. There is no equivalent option for Freesat.

Jun 27, 2011 · Top Up TV uses the Freeview system and a TV aerial. Sky uses satellite TV and a dish. The two technologies are not compatible. To get Top Up TV, you will need a Top Up TV set-top box. At the time of writing, Top Up TV can supply you with a set-top box for around £30 which has a subscription card slot for the Top Up TV card.

May 13, 2011 · Sky provides a wide range of HD TV channels, and lots of HD movies, but the price of the Sky Movies package, plus the additional Sky HD subscription fee does add up.
