Like the title says, I'm looking for a new email provider that does not have half a million requirements before you can even make an inbox. Yahoo, for example, requires phone verification to make a new email account, which is just about as anonymous as requiring an ID scan. And did you use a burner phone or an old number that you no longer use?
I have a Gmail account in Thunderbird and it doesn't do that. and "not really" is just wrong.. you need a phone number. period. you cant turn on 2fa without it. As I wrote before, use a throw-away number, turn on 2FA with TOTP or WebAuthn, then remove the throw-away number. Easy peasy.
Sep 17, 2021 · I did not have to provide a phone number. It's actually a decent email service that even gives you 10 email aliases for free. Just make sure that you activate 2FA using a TOTP app right away, otherwise they might ask you for a phone number for verification purposes later. -4. Share.

However, using the same phone number will result in obtaining the same cryptographic hash. So by comparing hashes, we can detect if phone numbers or email addresses are reused for human verification.
Protonmail request 3rd party verification using text message, email (provided by who what service can you sign up for without a phone) or DONATION. The only anonymous answer is to donate to those assholes after you discover an anonymousonline paymentmethod that works for you and probablycosts more than a cash transaction.i wish I set up more email addresses before it went to shit.
Nov 21, 2015 · mail.com, it was so simple : (. Free or paid? Gmail sometimes doesn't ask for phone numbers but other times it does. I don't know what or how it chooses to require a phone number. FastMail doesn't require a phone but it is also a paid service starting at $10 a year. tuta.io and protonmail.com are both excellent.
Jun 2, 2020 · I'm looking for a free-mail service that doesn't force me to reveal my identity/connect to my data. It used to be so easy to get an free mail-address, but lately every provider seems to force you to give out another verifyed address or even worse checks your phone number.
Need a new email acc to link to a spare gaming account. I am not giving my damn phone number. I found a few that don't require phone numbers, but they all come with a warning of deleting the account after some months off inactivity.

ActivityPub. idk if it works but you can try getting a Google voice or Skype number w/ minimal personal info. There's no need to give up privacy for ease of use: https://protonmail.ch/. I'd've suggested Yahoo, but they've started itching for phone ...
