  3. It appears if you choose to share a file with the file open, for whatever reason, dropbox will prompt a view to create a login/ to login. But if you are looking at a list of files and choose to share the file with the share icon, then it may work.

  4. 4 years ago. Can't login. I know my user NAMES and PASSWORDS. I CAN login in on any computer, except the ONE that I need my Dropbox working. I have tried with EDGE, CHROME and FIREFOX (Windows 10). I tried PRIVATE mode on THREE browsers. I enter my email and password. I choose sign in.

I have updated Safari, cleared cache, cleared history, cleared cache again, but nothing will get the login screen to show. I took a look at the web inspector and I see this error:

After entering credentials, appears system popup "Allow Dropbox to send you notifications?", screen starts blinking and becomes unresponsive -- can not tap on allow/don't. After switch to home screen (or other app) and back -- screen remains black. Phone is working, app doesn't.

  8. I couldn't log into Dropbox today. The email used for login is different. I don't remember changing it. Instead of Email_1, it is Email_2. When I tried to sign in, it asked me for a PIN. My original account under Email_1 is gone. I changed my password. Is there anything else I should do with Email_1 and Email_2.

This indicates that the app is requesting "team" scopes, which can only be authorized by a team admin, that is, on a "Business" or "work" account. The account you're logging in to isn't on Business team, and so can't authorize these scopes, so you're prompted to switch to a work account instead.
