Aug 25, 2020 · The issue you are encountering is usually a result of the Smartscreen feature, which you can modify. This can be for any number of reasons, e.g. the exe is not digitally signed so the publisher is not known. That said, I use WinRAR myself and I know that their installer is signed with a valid cert.

The first is a "portable" application. This is a design left over from the 1980's. Everything you need to run the program is in a zip, or RAR, file.

Place a check mark next to Run this program in Compatibility mode and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list. Let the driver to install and then check the functionality.

Dec 9, 2015 · Right click and selected properties. clicked the compatibility tab. selected run as Win 7. apply and selected ok. After going through this process and clicking on the app I get the message "Can't run on this PC". I have another laptop running Win 10 and the app runs with no problems, I didn't even have to run compatibility settings. Please help.

You can choose "Choose Default Program" from there. Change the default programs from the Settings. Go to Settings. Choose Apps then Default apps.
Jan 21, 2020 · I recently got my PC fixed with a fresh wipe of windows 10. But now I cant download any Rar files, everytime I try to this shows up.. I can download any other file besides rar.. I dont get it and ive tried to look up tutorials but it wont work! Someone help me!!
