Since April 2019, over 2.1 crore traffic violation cases have been disposed of through virtual hearings. The system allows offenders to pay fines online or contest the notice.

All traffic challans except those where the vehicle is impounded can be disposed of by making an online payment at the portal.
A virtual court facility was announced back in 2021 to help citizens make challan payments online without the need to physically appear in court.
