The advantage for both steam and gog is that you can use both launchers too play the others sides games. GOG because 100% of the purchase will go to CDPR Steam for me as I'm OCD as fuck and like all my games in one place

   Is Gog better than steam?

   • Steam is always better if u ask me. One advantage to GOG is that you aren't forced to use the latest build of the game. That isn't implemented for Steam currently for this game so we get the traditional 'the patch has broken my mods' threads as well as the occasional 'why does my game crash with this update which has raised the min specs?'.

   Is cyberpunk DRM free?

   • Epic: I use Epic Store daily so I'm inclined to get it from there but the launcher lacks many features. GOG no DRM. You don't need a launcher for GOG, downlaod de game, click the .exe, like good old times. sigh I've lost count of the number of times I've said this. The PC version of Cyberpunk is DRM free regardless of platform.

   How many GB is cyberpunk?

   • For Cyberpunk, the game is about 103 GB (including all language packs), which results in an exe and 26 bin files. I download those and stick them on a hard drive, so that in the future, I can install and play the game at any time, whether or not I have GOG Galaxy installed. It's just future-proofing my games. And that comes from gog.com then?

   I'm aware that Steam's DRM can be circumvented, but GOG makes it so that you don't have to rely on cracking tools just to play games that you own a license to. Also, GOG doesn't have nearly the volume of games that Steam does. Most of my library is on Steam, but when I can get a GOG copy, I do. And like you said, storage is cheap.

Think what Valve is to Steam for a rough comparison. Steam, like any store, takes a portion of the sale price.
