Mar 7, 2008 · The other computer cannot look to your note pad an know that you want to paste from it instead of it's own note pad. Also, as a side note, if you are remote controlling a Mac from a PC consider that they key strokes are different on the two OS's. PC = CTRL+P, Mac=CMND (ALT for PC users)+P. Jorma@RealEyes. Upvote.
Aug 1, 2024 · For whatever reason the COPY shortcut key stopped working a while back. Using CTRL+C has absolutely no effect. I can select text and manually right click and copy, or use the edit option, and the CTRL+V will paste the information without any problems. But CTRL+C and CTRL+X absolutely fail to perform their regular actions.

Mar 8, 2019 · The shortcut keys work fine on any other program on my Mac it's just InDesign which isn't working. When I paste using the shortcut keys the previous copied content is pasted indicating that the clipboard hasn't saved my most recent copy.

Mar 22, 2020 · AE's copy & paste functions are contextual, so no, you cannot just marquee-select a bunch of keyframes across layers and hope they get pasted to the same property streams. Aug 30, 2023 · Nothing happens just like usual if i select something I get all the options except cut, copy and paste options. I can freely edit or move all things even I can past or cut but by using shortcut keys Votes
