The term "chick" tends to imply stereotyping in a way which would be offensive when used to describe particular individuals, but the term "chick flick" applies that stereotype not to identified individuals, but rather to people who would engage in a stereotypical excessive affinity for a genre of film. That a person likes a film does not imply that they do so "excessively", and thus the term "chick flick" does not imply that everyone that likes the film is a stereotypical "chick".

Chuck a wobbly is Australian slang for someone throwing a tantrum, and I like it because it invokes amusing imagery. I'm not certain of its origins however. Since cock is American slang for male genitalia, it’s fallen out of use in America (not in England!) except when specifically referring to cock fighting. Chicken is genderless, hen is the female, rooster. cock and cockerel are male, and chick refers to the younglings (of either sex).
Old School slang is the slang used in the early years of Hip-Hop up to and ending in, 1995. So the Outkast mention of the phrase falls into Kearse's old school category, barely. Why 1995 is the dividing line between old and new goes unexplained in Kearse's book; I suspect that it's an arbitrary cutoff based largely on the fact that for a book published in 2006, any slang more than ten years old is inherently old.
I assume 'dicta' is short for 'dictator' - meaning she's telling guys what to do. Someone from Barbados could confirm whether it's Bajan creole. And it's 'disco diva' which is the same context. But electronic music generally has an ambiguous drugs meaning - 'disco diva', addiction, adrenaline, baby, love, and so on.

Nov 3, 2016 · Also, the meaning of the slang "bare" has changed a little in the UK. When I was growing up it only meant "plenty of". So "bare money", "bare girls". But these days, as someone noted above, it also means very. So "bare angry", "bare hungry". Before, people would have used the word "nuff" to mean very. So, "that chicken is nuff spicy".
