It is recommended to keep Bose app notifications enabled so you are aware when an update is available. When an update is available, the Bose app automatically downloads it. Once donwloaded, the app transfers the update to your earbuds, which can take up to 40 minutes.
To check for and download system software updates, use your computer to visit the Bose updater website at: btu.Bose.com. NOTE: To update the system, you need to connect the system to your computer using a USB-C cable (not provided).
