Jun 10, 2015 · The big daddies become organs fused to a suit because it was easier to mass produce them and they were not conditioned to one Little Sister unlike the prototype Alpha series and Subject Delta (with the exception of Sigma, he was too late in the project to be given a Little Sister) to cause the mental breakdown Alphas went through when their Little Sister was either killed or taken from them.

Abut not sure about (insert bioshock 2 dlc big daddy) sense I didn’t look too much into that dlc. But it also may have to do with that entire series sense they kinda were like prototypes or smth.

If i remember correctly, that's what the alpha series specifically looks like, at least possibly as its concept art. the others can't remove the suit as its their body more or less, its intertwined with them, life support systems, organs, and all that is one whole, removing the helmet would only get you alot of muscle, bone and metal, and miscellaneous fluids. probably couldn't make out specific bits where eyes or anything goes beyond vague hole, but the alphas are the exception, as they ...

in bioshock 1, the suchong audio diary "cheap son of a bitch" says a person's organs are grafted directly into the big daddy suits: ergo the suits are their skin. so asking what's "underneath" a big daddy helmet would be like ripping the flesh off a human, seeing their skull, and going "so THAT'S what humans actually look like."

You didn’t mention you retrieved the boots, if you are looking for those they are in the library second floor just above the atrium. Edit: if I remember correctly the code to get into the east room full of ammo and the suit you need is 1921.
The bouncers are a different story. They were basically disassembled and their organs grafted into the heavy canvas diving suit. There's no reason to even think they have skin; the suit is their skin now. Their skeleton is solid steel - in BI, in Fink's lab, you can see a Big Daddy skeleton next to a Songbird one in a glass case - all steel.
