All of a sudden that crawler is gone and I can’t figure out how to get it back. I’ve gone thru the settings but can’t find anything specific to the news ...

Aug 10, 2021 · Still using MSN.com (Bing) as my homepage on Safari. Starting today whenever I type in a site to go to, I get this: View attachment 1833354 If I go down to the bottom and click on "visit this website", I can still get through (which I did just now to get MacRumors up). Anyone have any idea what Microsoft or whoever just did?

Hard to verbalize but it just "looks better" to my eyes than Safari. And it updates frequently, and manually. I still use Safari 95% of the time, but Edge is the only other browser on my Macs. B.

Sep 17, 2024 · Sep 17, 2024. #1. I hope someone from Apple reads this, the new stocks app widgets are terrible. No one who follows stocks wants half the widget to be news that no one cares about. They put the important information in a tiny little section, got rid of the slightly useful quick glance charts for the tickets, and replaced it with this abomination.

My Mac and iPhone don't exhibit this behaviour but on both my iPads, I can't make them to appear no matter what. Obviously the slider for the Frequently Visited and set to On, I've tried turning the slider off and on ...
Sep 19, 2015 · So there is a new function that can keep the suggestions for apps and everything on your iPhone and just kill the news suggestions. Settings > General > Spotlight search. In the list of apps, disactivate both Bing Web Results & Spotlight Suggestions.

Jun 9, 2023 · A few hours later it looks like Edge have cleaned up some of the mess by itself. Now I only have two versions of the EdgeUpdater app but at least they are the same version 117.0.2045.47 and two Launch Daemons related to the 109.0.1518.107 version have also disappeared.
