Everyday I turn it on, only to find the next morning that it has been turned off. Today I turned it on and checked a few hours later and it was off.
Jul 18, 2024 · Here are the steps to reproduce the issue: Open Bing Wallpaper. Go to Settings. Enable "Daily Refresh." Close the app and reopen it later. Notice that "Daily Refresh" is now disabled. This is incredibly frustrating as it defeats the purpose of having a wallpaper app that's supposed to provide fresh images regularly.

Go to the image directory C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\BingWallpaperApp\WPImages and delete the following files: - EmbeddedImage1.jpg. - EmbeddedImage2.jpg. - WPPrefs.bin. Fire up Bing Wallpaper again. So my new theory is that the image list is held in WPPrefs.bin and that somehow gets corrupted.

In reply to deleted message. I've installed the Bing Wallpaper app and set the daily refresh to on. The image updates to today's image - all great. Then randomly, a few hours later the image changes again to a different Bing image that is not that showing as Bing's image of the day. When I check the app the daily refresh has reset to off.
