I won't judge if the film is full of jumpscares You guys were amazing the other day with good anthologies to watch, and i'm really grateful and looking forward to seeing what you horror fans can come up with.
I’ve been looking for some great psychological horrors with good twists, a fucked up story, very atmospheric (like the lighthouse, hereditary, anything done by a24 or Robert Eggers), and also movies like Martyrs especially, Terrified, The Dark and The Wicked.

Jan 27, 2021 · 1922 is really good, just makes you miserable though and is more gory and thrillery than pure horror The Ritual is often recommended on here, and for good reason, it's just a very good horror movie with strong characters and an awesome monster The Boy is a dumb, fun movie with an awesome twist ending, not very scary though.

Aug 26, 2021 · A little early to plan this but my girlfriend and I wanted to plan a "30 days of Halloween" this year (Similar to 25 days of christmas) where we would watch a different horror movie every night. I was wondering what people thought were some of the best horror movies that I could put on the list. Bonus points if its also a thriller movie
Dec 7, 2022 · One of the best horror movies ever imo, with a few caveats. But it was the only time I’ve seen one of these films and actually felt disturbed. I feel like the ending was the weakest part of the film, they didn’t do it as strongly as they could have.
Oct 11, 2016 · The most important thing to say about "horror" (IMO) is that a "horror movie" isn't necessarily scary, and a "scary" movie won't necessarily be considered a horror movie. My gf was FREAKED THE FUCK OUT by some of the scenes in The Martian because she's got a pretty strong phobia of space and suffocation.
This is a really stupid one and I’m one of six people who actually liked it, but Tusk is probably one of the only horror comedies that genuinely creeped me out at times. I credit Michael Parks mostly for this because he’s phenomenal and his commitment to the bit was unreal.
