It hasn't been worth it to play octane in ranked since season 8. He is outclassed in utility by every single legend in the game.

It depends on the playstyle, gun experience, and map awareness entirely my guy lol read heavily into both legends description. Feb 26, 2021 · Having Caustic and Octane players in your team is quite annoying. They are most of the time bad players (they don't care about their teammates) and their voice lines are getting old. I'll take a Wraith or Horizon main anytime (ok maybe not Horizon because she always saying something and rambling about stuff). 1.
Nov 14, 2020 · Depends on how skilled the player is imo. Octane is better at closing long distances quickly with his jump pad, but im loving the verticality of horizon at the moment. Plus the 15 second cool down is ridiculous at present, compared to the minute or whatever it is for octane jump pad. Depends on your play style I suppose, Both are good.
