Puri is the son of Rajeev Amrish Puri and Meena Rajeev Puri. [5] He is the grandson of actor Amrish Puri. He completed his graduation from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics in 2011. He made his acting debut in the 2019 film Yeh Saali Aashiqui, [6] starring Shivaleeka Oberoi.
He had four siblings, elder brothers Chaman Puri and Madan Puri (both of whom were also actors), elder sister Chandrakanta, and a younger brother, Harish Puri. He was the first cousin of the actor and singer K. L. Saigal .
