Ameesha does come from a wealthy political family, and was a gold medalist in Economics from Boston University. She even worked as an investment banker for a bit if I recall correctly. Plus she was in many successful movies and probably made good money from those and other endorsements and events, and likely has had gifts showered on her in the heydays (a lot of celebs get gifted stuff, so it's nothing shady).

May 20, 2021 · Ameesha gave a hit debut with Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai and followed with a hit Telugu movie and Gadar which was one of the biggest hits of all time. Post that she gave a few flops and then gave Humraaz. Post that, she entered a slump due to bad choices. Bhool Bhulaiyaa came out in 2007 and Honeymoon Travels.

Vikram Bhatt and the case against her parents, etc happened. Her brother went downhill too trying to get into the glam world.
Any tea on Ameesha Patel? One of the worst falls in entertainment history, poor woman. But why, though? To start with not a great actor, chose wrong set of movies, no one had her back when she was giving flops plus she was having huge personal problems during her peak and start of the fall.
