Oct 20, 2020 · For those who don't the EID is a 14 digit number which is displayed on the enrollment/acknowledgement receipt provided to you when registering for your Aadhaar card. Here is a step by step guide you can follow to download the e-Aadhar card by using enrolment number (EID).
Enrolment ID comprises 28 digits with a 14-digit enrolment number and also with the 14-digit date & time stamp. It can be seen at the top of the update acknowledgement slip which you get from the Aadhaar Enrolment or the Update Centre.
Step 1: Visit to the official website of UIDAI. Step 2: Go to ‘My Aadhaar’ and click on ‘Download Aadhaar’ under the ‘Get Aadhaar’ section. Step 3: Select ‘Enrolment ID’, enter your 14-digit Enrolment ID, select the enrolment date and time and captcha code and click ‘Send OTP’. Step 4: Select if you want to download a ‘Masked Aadhaar’.
Download an electronic version of your Aadhaar by giving your Aadhaar number or Enrolment ID. Downloaded Aadhaar is as valid as the original Aadhaar letter.
Step 3: Enter your EID, which is a 14-digit enrollment number and a 14-digit date and time of your enrollment, located on the top of your enrollment/update acknowledgement paper (optional). Step 4: Verify your entry by entering the 'Captcha Code'. Step 5: Select ‘Check Status.'.
