The developers of Zoom have an app version on the Microsoft Store, open the Store app and search for Zoom and you will find that app, it an be installed on Windows in S Mode. .

This setting in Windows 11 is at Windows Settings > Apps > Advanced App Settings > Choose Where to get apps > Anywhere. If that's already set then you may have bought a PC that has S mode, which only allows Store apps to be installed.

Feb 16, 2024 · The S mode will only allow you to install verified apps from the Microsoft Store. The only way to be able to install Zoom is by switching out of S mode. Here are the instructions to switch out of S mode on Windows 11.
Apr 11, 2020 · Thanks very much for replying to my question! per your answer, I'll stay in the S mode and use Zoom on my tablet. Just thought there might be an APP to use with Windows 10 S mode. No one thought this pandemic would happen an dos many companies would use ZOOM instead of SKYPE, Web-X, Google Hangout or something else! Regards, Jerry
Nov 8, 2023 · On the window you showed on your screenshot, click on "Change my app recommendation settings" . The Windows settings should open, click on "Apps" on the left and choose "Advanced apps settings". There's an option called "Choose where to get apps". Click on "The Microsoft Store only" and switch to "Anywhere". Then, try again to install Zoom.
Nov 28, 2021 · I have a new laptop that's Windows 11 and is in S Mode. What is the set by set process to get zoom meeting on to the computer without taking the computer out of S Mode. I found Zoom in the Microsoft store. But am not sure if it is the real thing.

Tells me it's not microsoft verified , and refers me to microsoft store which doesn't have it. How or can I bypass this to install the program. I use zoom meetings. Mar 25, 2020 · Once you've upgraded Edge, then you can install an extension that will tell websites you're using Chrome, even though you're using Edge. Since the new Edge is based on Chromium, the same engine behind Google Chrome, Zoom works perfectly. (and so does my daughter's SmartMusic.com site that requires Chrome too)
