Sep 21, 2022 · Meticulously maintained 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, 36k miles now throwing P0302 code. Cylinder # 2 plug and coil replaced plus intake plenum gasket. Issue was not resolved. Compression check on # 2 cylinder shows 80 psi vs 150 psi. Dealership says that left cylinder head will need to be replaced at a cost of $3,500.
Sep 16, 2023 · The 5-speed automatic is a bit slow and clunky; the 8-speed is quick, smooth, refined and smart. But both are solid transmissions. JK is a simpler vehicle with fewer electronics; JL has more comfort and convenience features that come with greater complexity. JL rides and drives nicer than JK, and is much more nicely finished inside and out.

Got a 2016 wrangler with the 3.6l getting a code p0128. question the temp sensor cause it warms up fast and is normal on the gauge dash says 190 normal driving but got up to 220 today sitting and the fan never kicked on. Question is what is the normal operating temperature saw somewhere the fan won’t kick on till 240?
May 1, 2022 · Hard / Stiff Steering. I'm having an issue with my 2013 Wrangler. Initially it seemed as if I was losing my power steering on occasion. After a couple weeks of this I figured it was a safe bet to replace the steering pump and belt since they both have about 110,000 miles on them even though there was no whining , leaks , etc, just hard steering.
Oct 22, 2024 · About a month ago I hit a curb pulling into a gas station and the jeep completely shut down on me. When I turned the key the engine would crank but not fire. Jeep was throwing "p0688" code. After some research I learned the problem was a blown "M19" fuse (Auto shut down #1 and #2).
Sep 27, 2023 · Hey guys, it looks like Goodyear just released two new tires, one called the Duratrac RT and the other is called the Boulder MT. From what I can tell, the Boulder MT is what has replaced the MTR. Here's what the Boulder looks like. Pretty chunky looking tread blocks. Here's the new Duratrac RT.
Apr 5, 2018 · I don't know if it's related but I have switched from 29" to 32" tires and I notice that going uphill on the highway my JKU shifts at higher RPMs than it used to, at 4500-5000 RPM. It is a little unnerving but I assumed it was just due to the loss of torque due to the 10% larger tires. 2018 JK Sport S. 2007 H-D FXDL.
