Or at the very least get voicemod working under a WINE runner, I can't get past the install section about adding a desktop shortcut regardless of which runner I use. I know you guys said on X/Twitter 3 years ago a linux version was in the works, I'd imagine people be willing to test it by now, especially with what Microsoft is pulling on Windows 11 right now.
Jan 30, 2024 · Switching audio devices fuckin sucks but other than that, it's gold. The layout is smooth. You'll dial it all in just fine. When you change audio devices it has to go through settings each and every time to confirm. It doesn't take long but when you just started a Zoom meeting, it blows. "uh hurrdurr hang on."
Apr 3, 2023 · They don't do a good job of showing it publicly. If the free content is not good, and the price is a subscription, it's definitely not worth it, imo. When I bought Voicemod, I got a one-time payment offer for $30, for a lifetime license. That feels very worth it all things considered. But for what I use it for, I never know when it might come up.
Jan 8, 2024 · The ones created by Voicemod cannot be converted, they are encoded. But the sounds you have added should be enough to rename them to .wav to be able to play them. Specifically the AI stuff is usually an online service rather than an app you can download, which makes in way harder to pirate because you never really have the tech in the first place. I don't know if its intentional or just how it needs to be to work, but it's a good defense against piracy 🤷♂️ annoying as that is. Reply.
May 12, 2020 · Right click on Voicemod and select "Open file location." You may need to do that again if it sends you to a folder that shows only it's shortcut (right click the shortcut and click "Open File Location.") Now just copy and replace those 2 files from the crack folder into that location and open Voicemod. It should say "Voicemod Pro" in yellow ...

However it locks a lot of features behind payment, if you're just using the free version only a small amount of voice presets are available (which change every now and then, so the chances of using the same voice two days in a row are slim) and you can't make custom voices.
