I looked at updating the driver, but the touchpad no longer appears in the Device Manager list or Control Panel (it did before). So I tried updating it manually.

Uninstalling I2C HID driver and reinstalling, downgrading drivers, load default BIOS (it was working great - Unfortunately, it doesn't now), and the last working solution now is unchecking auto detect external USB from BIOS setting : (. This will add settings in Settings > Devices > Touchpad and also in Additional Options (Mouse Properties) where it adds a tab that will have many other settings including often to "Disable touchpad when USB mouse is detected."
