Recently I had to reset my Diskstation and set up everything new.

I was interested in being able to access my Synology shares remotely and securely, and it seemed that QuickConnect was the most-used option.
Nov 30, 2020 · I tried it, but that didn't work. nslookup can't find it. But when I did a nslookup of ds220plus.synology.me, I did get an address. If that's someone's quickconnect Id, then perhaps I can get my quickconnect Id to work as well. I don't see FTP in the list of apps/services in the QuickConnect Advanced tab of the QuickConnect setup in the control ...

Aug 19, 2017 · No, it's one quickconnect ID per synology box, not per user account. If you want them to all be syncing the same folder on Cloud Station, then you'd have them all log in using the same user credentials.
Dec 15, 2021 · I found that the QuickConnect settings were greyed out and disabled, but the old ID was in the name box. When enabling the QuickConnect check-box and saving I was getting the " Unable to perform this operation, possibly because the network connection is unstable or system is bussy.
Jan 19, 2021 · I can successfully visit DSM via https://myqcid.quickconnect.to and the mobile applications such as drive, moments, note and etc work well with "myqcid" in various network environments such as office wifi and 4G.
Time Backup did not let you use QuickConnect as it predates QC. However, it does let you choose "server name or IP address" which is the same as Hyper Backup. So you can use a DDNS hostname but the issue here is that you can't open the ports. Without being able to open the ports at the remote destination this won't be possible.

Feb 29, 2020 · I have a new RT2600ac as well as a DS1019+ (which replaced my DS412+). Before adding the RT2600ac, I had the QuickConnect ID (QCID) setup on my NAS and was able to access Synology Drive using that ID. I've since moved the QCID to my router, so to that end, how can I have the various Synology apps access the NAS using the QCID?
