Shillong College was inaugurated on 15th of August, 1956, and began with few students at Jail Road Boys High School. Shri Sudhindra Chandra Datta, a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics in St. Anthony’s College, became the founder Principal.

It's central government college so I chose it. It has all the facilities as per government guidelines which are helpful being a good clinician. college is situated in depth of nature as it is in Shillong giving a good and fresh environment to achieve knowledge.
