Jan 5, 2022 · Every other app or download source has much more reliable download speeds (Steam gets 35 MB/s, for example). I've seen hundreds of posts about users having the same issue going back 3 years. I've tried their troubleshooting and fixes such as Delivery Optimization settings, Group Policy edits, and MS Store downloads (outdated as option is no longer there), but nothing has worked.

Feb 20, 2024 · Hi, reno uninstaller fixed the browser issue but it didn't clear the app still showing in settings/installed apps.. I then did a PC reset which seems to have worked...PC App Store not showing anymore. Thank you Paulo and AW for your help....

May 24, 2022 · Not the Windows Store, the Microsoft Store. I'm looking to get Mail and Calendar on my PC, but without the Microsoft Store, I can't. The current Mail app for Windows 8.1 doesn't work, and the built-in Windows Store is pretty much dead. There's got to be a way to have the modern Microsoft Store on Windows 8.1.
The apps in the Store are installed directly from the Store, they are not downloaded. The Apps are installed in the . C:\Program Files\WindowsApps folder. The user configuration files for each app are installed in the . C:\Users\user name\AppData\Local\Packages folder. Regards
