Oct 8, 2012 · 2. Don't worry about the default Music Player being shown among the applications available when the headset is inserted. If I set another music player as default, then this should resolve item 2. The only reason I want to change the default Music Player is because it shows up in the Notifications pulldown, rather than the preferred music player.

Feb 14, 2011 · Back in the app, hit "SD Card." Your phone's Gallery will open. Just single-tap the image, and voila -- you're back in the app, and the image is assigned to your album. You can then delete the image in your Gallery. Minor drawback: there were a couple times that images didn't show in the Music Player, but they did after a 2nd try.
Sep 13, 2014 · Apparently there is already a "default music player". go into settings and turn off the current media default player. Settings/Apps/Default Apps/. clear what you don't want. next time you play music, the phone will ask you to choose again. M.

You notice this with music apps as the audio stops. Some apps restart where they left off well, others don't. Can't wait for Marshmallow, not that we will get it.
Mar 31, 2018 · Ok, I absolutely can't stand Google Play. It will never play my stored music by voice command, but that's a different story. I uninstalled Play and installed Samsung Music. How can I set this as default? There doesn't seem to be a way to do it so now when I ask to play a song I get told that I need to install Google Play Music.
