May 15, 2016 · I have a laptop that shipped with Windows 10 and I promptly installed Microsoft Office 2016 Home & Student on it. (I bought one of those little cards with the product key on the back.) I am planning to reinstall Windows 10 on the same PC (to get rid of bloatware).
Open Command Prompt and navigate to the following folder. C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office15. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15. Run cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus. Observe the results and uninstall each product key. cscript ospp.vbs /unpkey:<last 5 chars of product key shown in dstatus>.
