I've tried creating a server in the new minecraft update,1.21 but when i open the server it won't allow my friends to join and all the fixes i have found for the server are for LAN servers but i'm not using a LAN server, does anyone know of any fixes or anything?

To backup your world, just create a copy of your world in your saves folder. If the world breaks, just remove this world and copy the backup world into it. In some cases, it is possible to repair/fix a broken world. If your world is crashing, close the game, go to the logs-folder and add the latest.log with https://paste.ee/.
