Although you may still find the old releases of MikTeX MiKTeX Releases, you will quickly find out that the older versions are not avaliable anymore, e.g., MiKTeX 2.4 Status. I would strongly recommend you to ask a more specific question about the problem you are dealing with.

Mar 28, 2013 · On that computer download the whole MiKTeX repository to a local folder. The best would be putting this folder on a removable disk, but later burning of an DVD-RW is possible as well. The download can be done with the net installer, if you change the installation setting from default to "Download MikTeX" and select then "Complete MikTeX".

May 21, 2012 · 11. You can use the package manager for that. However, I would recommend you to update to MikTeX 2.9 if possible. Then you can go to the Repository Menu and select Change Repository option. After clicking next if you wish to have it updated from internet, you would get the list of available repositories.
