22. In addition to what Ulrike Fischer has mentioned, the additional advantages of Miktex are: Miktex has both 32 bit (stable) and 64 bit (experimental). It is a pity that TeX Live for Windows is available only for 32 bit. Deciding the install location of your own packages and classes is easier on MiKTeX.
