Mar 1, 2022 · I used lybary genesis a lot a few years ago and then stop using it but now i see many web pages that could be the real ones, i recently tried genlibrusec but my antivirus blocked it for me so im not sure wich one is the real one now.

Sep 2, 2021 · Z-Library and its off-shoots are not really part of the Library Genesis project mission, do not host open databases or collections, and charge for access. They likely have the largest monetary war chest, but they are not doing anything good with it. Z-Library's collection is closed-access and they impose a subscription model. They are essentially just downloading the open Library Genesis database, inserting a few thousand of their own books, and claiming ownership of the work for profit.
Feb 2, 2022 · I made an impulse decision and downloaded/burned to disc a private copy of LibGen (all 60+ terabytes) so that I wouldn't have to worry about links going down. In retrospect, for all the times I read of the servers being down (like this), it probably wasn't worth it. At least it makes a proud addition to my bookshelf. 2.
