Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (English: Young Scientist Incentive Plan) (KVPY) used to be a scholarship programme funded by the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India, aimed at encouraging students to take up research careers in the areas of basic sciences.
Aug 21, 2021 · The KVPY is a national-level scholarship programme for aspirants in grades 11th & 12th. Aspirants in their first year of university can also register for the KVPY. The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) will conduct an aptitude test and interview to determine who is eligible for the KVPY scholarship.
First of all candidates have to do the registration for the KVPY 2025. The application process will begin from the third week of July 2025. Candidates can fill and submit the application form till the fourth week of August 2025.
