To switch your personal account to a creator account on Instagram: Go to your profile and tap in the upper right corner. Select Account type and tools. Select Switch to professional account. Select your category. You can choose a category that best describes what you do and tap Done. Select Creator.

Still not sure whether you should have an Instagram creator profile or a business profile? Here are five notable differences between the two accounts.
Step 1: Go into your settings
Go to your profile and click on the hamburger menu in the top right corner. Then click on Settings, sitting at the top of the list. Then, select Account. If you have a personal account, select Switch to Professional Account. If you have a business account, select Switch to Creator Account. Note: You may also be prompted on your profile page by Instagram to switch to a professional account. This does the same as above.
