Jul 26, 2021 · Mixed feelings. First time when we ordered from Ikea (bed and sideboard) it was a huge mess. They needed 3 attempts for the delivery. First time when they came there where parts missing. Second time when they came one of the boxes was so badly damaged i refused to take it.
Nov 13, 2020 · Cheers. They are very fashionable, you won't get models like those in local furniture shops If quality of wood , longevity and value for money are your concern then don't go for IKEA. I heard urban ladder is good. We bought a shoe rack, and a double bed. Both are good.

Jul 23, 2018 · When you order online from IKEA, this is what you need to understand. Ikea has your money. They give your stuff to a shipping company. That shipping company then gives it out to a sub contracted "local" shipping company. If the Ikea customer rep "assures" you that it will be delivered on "this day", they are not being truthful to put it nicely.

I would not drive 2 hrs to Ikea if the online shop would be good and functional. So they would lose a lot of money from missing out on additional purchases that you make in the store (you want to buy 1 kallax and end up with 400 candles and 25 samla boxes etc.) Online Shops don't fit in the company's concept and would eventually canabalize the huge stores all over the world with ten thousands of employers in it.

8/27/20: Placed order online for 6 end tables. Delivery date scheduled for Sept. 16. 9/9/20: Received email saying that my order was picked and being prepared. No other communication received and online status still showed as "processing" until Sept. 23. 9 /21/20: Emailed Ikea customer service inquiring about my order, never received any response.
If you’re in the US and ordering on the IKEA mobile site, you should see the option for “Gift Card or Reward Certificate (s)” between the “Order Total” and “Payment Method” fields. You can expand the option with the cross to the right. You’ll need a PIN code, which should be under a scratch-off on the back of the card.
