  5. Nov 15, 2023 · I called Hyundai Canada Customer Service because everything on the website or turning up through google was too general and didn't provide a specific answer to my question. The standard Canadian factory warranty of 5 years/100,000 km follows the vehicle, not the owner.

  8. Feb 28, 2023 · I have a 2017 Sonata, and the peeling paint problem keeps reoccurring (third repaint for us). Hyundai has been completely unresponsive --from the Hyundai dealer/shop who ignored our calls and emails to the Hyundai representative who denied covering our latest $2,000+ worth of repairs. What Hyundai is doing (or rather not doing) is shameful.

  9. Jun 28, 2017 · Hyundai US and Canada are 2 separate entities and Canadian cars have no warranty in the US per se. If you need warranty work done in the US you must pay out of pocket and submit to Hyundai Canada for consideration of payment. I have a Canadian car and when I was at the dealer here in the US they could not confirm the car even existed.

  10. Aug 4, 2023 · Obviously, there is a problem with the primer and white paint and my dealership. I was told that Hyundai Canada wants the dealership to send pictures. The dealership wants you to go to Hyundai Canada. I guess they are counting on customers to get frustrated and go away. I am going away, far away from Hyundai.
