Oct 29, 2020 · They were fighting with Hyundai Canada HQ to approve the engine as the dealer has gotten engines approved with low compression before (even someone on this forum got it with low compression. Now as a last ditch effort they put me on a oil consumption test, now either I consume 1L per 1000km for a total of 5000 KM or the engine seizes.
May 13, 2024 · I just did the October 2023 update on my 2022 Tucson Hybrid. According to update page on Hyundai Canada website I should now, finally, have wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, but I don't. I attached here a screenshot from that update page (they even put an exclamation mark after it).
Apr 6, 2024 · Seems like most want remote start, but not at the price Hyundai is asking via Blue Link. If I'm going to spend $300, I'd rather purchase the MyKey Premium product (Mykey Premium suitable car models) for $309.00 and remote start via the key fob.

Nov 15, 2023 · I called Hyundai Canada Customer Service because everything on the website or turning up through google was too general and didn't provide a specific answer to my question. The standard Canadian factory warranty of 5 years/100,000 km follows the vehicle, not the owner.

Feb 28, 2023 · I have a 2017 Sonata, and the peeling paint problem keeps reoccurring (third repaint for us). Hyundai has been completely unresponsive --from the Hyundai dealer/shop who ignored our calls and emails to the Hyundai representative who denied covering our latest $2,000+ worth of repairs. What Hyundai is doing (or rather not doing) is shameful.
Jun 28, 2017 · Hyundai US and Canada are 2 separate entities and Canadian cars have no warranty in the US per se. If you need warranty work done in the US you must pay out of pocket and submit to Hyundai Canada for consideration of payment. I have a Canadian car and when I was at the dealer here in the US they could not confirm the car even existed.
Aug 4, 2023 · Obviously, there is a problem with the primer and white paint and my dealership. I was told that Hyundai Canada wants the dealership to send pictures. The dealership wants you to go to Hyundai Canada. I guess they are counting on customers to get frustrated and go away. I am going away, far away from Hyundai.
