Too many packages in the network exceeding capacity can cause a delay. A shipping network as complex as FedEx can have all kinds of issues that can lead to delays.
FedEx is the worst piece of crap. You cannot find a more unreliable and incompetent logistics company. No wonder why Amazon banned them from providing any service to Amazon and their subsidiaries a couple of years ago. Every single shipment I get with them is either ridiculously late, damaged or lost.
Aug 25, 2022 · yes it is normal, I had the same issue for a week until this morning my tracking was updated at a warehouse in Georgia with 1 star, tons of complaints of slow shipment and theft. My package is also supposed to arrive today, but i doubt that with the fact it is still a state away. Lack of updates is fairly normal with FedEx.

It is unfortunately better than my USPS package, which has been stuck in the same location for 24 days and counting. Absolutely - anytime FedEx has your package you should be worried.

Here's the rub. FedEx didn't fail you. You might think FedEx failed you but they didn't. With FedEx Ground/HD no packages are picked up transported or delivered by FedEx Ground employees. The only FedEx employees that MIGHT deliver a ground package is an Express employee that's being contracted out to Ground by Express. But the brand!!!! Yep ...

Picked up - Yeah, this one is obvious Arrived at FEDEX location - Your package has arrived at the local depot. Its in a trailer or a pile and will be sorted, eventually.

Dispatch can see in real time where drivers are, managers can call dispatch whenever they wish to get updates—locations, how many stops a driver has left, etc. if your package has a senseaware then it tracks the package in real time also. There are also cameras on each truck.
May 6, 2023 · Almost every delivery FedEx has made to our address over the last 9 months has followed the exact same pattern: show that delivery will be early. start introducing shipping delays. arrive at some point between the originally scheduled time, or a day late. No other carrier has these characteristics that I've seen.
