Dec 30, 2021 · Mihoyo launcher is terrible. After 3.6 update, it stops downloading every now and then (randomly). I have to babysit to pause and un-pause every freakin minute. Will switch to epic launcher and see what happens.

No difference at all, official site installs you a launcher, so you start the game from there, epic games does the same, but you have to first enter egs and then hsr, just one extra step. I'd go direct to have less background tasks eating away your frames. No difference content wise.
Oct 18, 2022 · The store is most likely not going to hit Epic's financial targets over the next few years and will end up being mothballed. Publishers pulling away from exclusivity deals and/or Fortnite money drying up is going to expedite that.

May 20, 2020 · Edit: Epic's support replied to my manual ticket now, saying "I am glad to see you received your refund through our new Self-Service Refund feature." This confirms that it's a new feature. Although some people in the comment section aren't seeing the refund-button yet, so it might be rolling out gradually to different store regions. I am in the Swedish store region and have the refund feature, for reference.
