Jul 28, 2020 · In the epic games launcher, Go to settings, click Throttle Downloads set it to a big number like 100,000. I was getting 0.4 -1 MB's before doing that. Bumped up to 10 MB's after. Thats the only thing I changed. Play around with the number. 200,000 actually gave me worse speed. I know it shouldn't work.

Sep 5, 2020 · So i closed the Epic Games Store in the Windows System Tray (the arrow next to the windows clock) and opened it again in administrator mode. Then, I started the download again and it did well (in my case around 10MB/s), but in some cases it can return to the 0.00B/s problem. If it occur you have to repeat the process, closing and opening again ...
Epic is wonderful because gives more porcentage of earnings to Devs and Studios. Beyond that... well, there's the free games, but that comes with a catch. That catch is that some games are base games wth a lot of DLC (that's the business) or, very cheap games that usually cost 1-4 USD bundled or historical low.
After clicking resume, Epic will start verifying the game. Large games can take a while to complete. Step 5,6 is the most important step to trick the launcher to think that it's the same folder. This will work for people who is experiencing Epic doesn't allow resume after pause download and exit normally. Reply reply.
Sep 11, 2021 · Epic Games slow download speed - cfosspeed. Hi there, I've had issues with downloads on Epic Games for over a year. Speeds would be around 100-400 kb/s at max. Often drop to 0 and just stop. Every "fix" I've found online didn't do anything for me sadly. Today I tried uninstalling cfosspeed, I'm pretty sure MSI Dragon center installs it.
Aug 21, 2020 · Start the install from the launcher. It will ask you to "Choose install location". Select the base Epic Games folder where your game files are already installed. ex. C:\Program Files\Epic Games. It will then show that path and add the game folder to the end. ex. C:\Program Files\Epic Games\ShadowComplexRemastered.
Dec 13, 2021 · Epic Games Launcher downlead speed fix. How I did it in 2 steps. I had noticed since I got Epic Games Launchers that the downloads seemed much slower than they should. It would average about 1/3rd of my internet bandwidth witch on Centurylink is only 12Mbits/s / 3 = 4Mbits/s. I did some research on the forums, and found a partial fix.

It’s a safe application that launches games. It’s no different than gog or uplay or steam in that respect, just has less features. Reply reply.
Oct 31, 2020 · FIX. DISCUSSION. Hello, recently I found an issue with epic games launcher while trying to update or install a game on the launcher. I figured a fix in 20 minutes. Go to the game, install, check off all the boxes, shortcuts etc. And boom your game should start installing shortly after. Let me know if this helped you.
