Bumped up to 10 MB's after. Thats the only thing I changed. Play around with the number. 200,000 actually gave me worse speed.
Dec 4, 2023 · I've tried about anything I found on Internet but nothing changed: - Changing DNS. - Changing Engine.ini parameters. - Updating network drivers. - Allowing Epic Games Launcher in the firewall settings. - Enabling Throtle Downloads at 0kb/s for unlimited. - Enabling Throtle Download at 10000000kb/s. - Downloading on my SSD instead of my HDD.
Dec 5, 2023 · PSA: if your downloads are stuck at 0 B/s. SUGGESTION. I have been dealing with an issue where epic games downloads extremely slowly. Sporatic speeds of maybe 100kb/s for maybe a second. Launch the EpicGamesLauncher.exe as admin and all your problems are solved. No issues since then!
After clicking resume, Epic will start verifying the game. Large games can take a while to complete. Step 5,6 is the most important step to trick the launcher to think that it's the same folder. Then, I started the download again and it did well (in my case around 10MB/s), but in some cases it can return to the 0.00B/s problem. Oct 31, 2020 · FIX. DISCUSSION. Hello, recently I found an issue with epic games launcher while trying to update or install a game on the launcher. I figured a fix in 20 minutes. Go to the game, install, check off all the boxes, shortcuts etc. And boom your game should start installing shortly after. Let me know if this helped you.

Dec 3, 2023 · I've been running into this as well. I was able to get a game finally download. I started the download, closed all windows besides the epic launcher and minimized the launcher. The download continued without issues. Idk if I got lucky or what, but that seemed to have done the trick!
Steam's backend/API works much better out of the box than Epic's. Which means, multiplayer games on Steam are often more stable/less buggy compared to Epic. For example, Chivalry 2 (Epic exclusive) took months to get their party system working, while Mordhau's (a similar title on Steam) worked straight out of the gate.
