He holds a bachelor’s degree in technology (in electrical engineering) from Regional College of Engineering, Himachal Pradesh University, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, and was placed in the first division, and a master’s degree in business administration from University of Scranton, Pennsylvania.
