Jun 7, 2022 · It wasn't received all that well as it didn't add anything substantial, it just condensed the story into two movies so it's hardly the best way to experience the story. It does though contain the infamous scene of Light gloating at L's grave which the internet loves in part 1 and the monster speech by L in part 2.

Oct 24, 2020 · The plot doesn't really change, but I think they're still worth watching. There are extra scenes that were not in the anime and scenes that are done differently from how they were done in the series. If you watch them, be sure to watch Relight 2 through to the end of the credits.
