Apr 12, 2017 · I have seen a few threads regarding historical data at a reasonable cost. I've been trying to get hold of the cash index 1m prices for the DAX and the EURO STOXX 50. Tickdata.com does it for $1500 for both securities, which seems a little steep for only two securities.
Feb 15, 2015 · From 28 pairs, 75% of the time chart data is missing on a new chart. One support technician said it was a Metaquotes problem and a manual solution was to; a.) choose the 4H chart on each pair, b.) hold down the "Page Down" key, and, c.) then scroll back several months. Then repeat for every time chart for which I needed history data.
Jul 18, 2009 · Most people will eventually want some Historical Data to do backtesting. Sites with data seem to come and go and the formats are often not what we want e.g. I'm using MT4 and would like some M1 data. Alpari used to make files like EURUSD_M1.hst available for download to anyone who wanted it. Those links have now gone down.

Nov 14, 2013 · from my point of view you have a couple of options: 1. convert the csv dukascopy data yourself: with one of the tools available: e.g. my MT4 Historical Rates - Backtest. 2. if you want I can help look into it (but you would have to tell me which broker you use (so I can install the same as you have)
Dec 26, 2012 · If you have at least $1000 in your Oanda account you have access to free historical tick data from them. yea it's tick data. i dont' know how to compress it to 5 minute interval, plus it's bid/ask-so i have to go back and trace it to the high/low,open,close..no way i could do that. the offer still up. if you trade with fxtrade and have mt4 ...
Jun 29, 2014 · Beware, ticks and 1min data have bad ticks especially in the beginning of the historical data. (Their tick history is 70Go on my disk) No greed.
